I have been encountering simple delights in my quest for progress this summer.
Within the past two weeks, I had my first piano lesson. You should hear my scales!
Thanks to Jenny, I have since attached sleigh bells on a string to the knob of our back door. Miss Lola Butters now jingles the bell with her nose whenever she wants to be let out. We’ve got ourselves a little learner! Now, if she’d just learn to leave my Kermit alone, we’d be all set.
I completed two books, and have three in rotation. Check these out!
I have yet to find my tweezers, but took on five more of my Pins. To start, I made blueberry syrup and took my thumbprint for a dip.
I made Brown sugar cookie bars for the fourth of July and made them my own by adding peanut butter and butterscotch chips. Nom nom nom.
I figured out a way to use some of our wine corks and stamped this cute little turnip.
And I tried a new watercolor technique on my first sketch of Once Upon a Time Homes.
I’ve been experiencing my ups and my downs to the full; this summer has got me spinning.
