Since I’ve gone postal this week, Throwback Thursday is taking a different form. v Instead of a former journal entry, I want to share a smattering of letters I’ve received through my years of correspondence. Here’s a glimpse at my collection.
These letters are treasures to me, and I keep them, because each is cause for celebration. The creativity and intentional efforts of various friends warms my heart. I’m a veteran of handwritten correspondence and have hundreds of letters. They are like epistolary time capsules. I can chart progress, the writer’s and my own, based on the content, as well as the ever-changing mailing addresses.
Do you hold on to the letters you receive? Have you ever reread any of them? What kind of effect does looking at past epistles have on you?
