Gum drops on roses and brisker bean kittens

Living creatively is one of my favorite things; promoting creativity is another. On a whim, and with a little nudge from a holiday-spirited pal, I hosted a gingerbread house decorating party. For this occasion, I got up close and personal with graham crackers to assemble the structures.

I also became better acquainted with my grocer’s candy aisle.

And I love, love, loved seeing everyone’s creativity at work! Such fun with friends. I’m still working on mine, and I intend to share with you on Monday. Stay tuned!

What do you think of the crop so far? When was the last time you decorated a gingerbread house? How do you like to get creative around the holidays?

Oo la la, a chocolate house? That house wouldn’t last very long in my possession.
